We are moving Friday and I am busy. Yesterday I forgot to eat and found myself a shaking panicy mess. Then I realized I was starving, not going crazy. phew. Both boys are teething and have a virus. We saw the doctor this morning because I was worried about Eliot and I ended up getting a flu shot. Eliot is getting 7 teeth at once, four of them mollars. Lucas is getting 6 teeth, also four mollars. They are really all popping out at the same time! Their mouths are like one big red sore spot, with little white points everywhere. Eliot is sleeping a lot right now, he is going to bed an hour early and sleeping two to three extra hours during the day, in between periods of exteme fussiness. Poor baby. Lucas just caught the virus and woke up with a fever this morning. Tylenol is making them feel better all around. I painted their bedroom and cleaned our entire new house both Monday and Tuesday and now it is ready for our arrival. I better start thinking about packing. A lot is going on right now and I feel like I haven’t been keeping up with people as well as usual so don’t despair, I will return to normal shortly… oh, and I loose my nanny friday because of our move and I am SO sad.
I woke up wondering what had happened while I slept, I watched the polls until I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer (9pm) and I have an overwhelmeing sense of relief this morning at this great victory! We are heading into better times for all. And we have regained some dignity in the eyes of the world. I feel great today!!
We closed on our house on October 31st! We have been working on this for months now and are finally moving to beautiful Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. We are so happy and the boys love their new house. They ran all over their expansive livingroom and yard yesterday screaming in delight. We can’t wait to make the move. I am so busy right now, but soon I will post more details…
