3-26-07-7.gifWe had another doctors appoinment this morning, Tuesday, March 27th and these are the new ultrasound pics.  Today he measured the heads, necks, and bodies to determine fetal age and health.  Everything was perfect and they had grown so much since the last time.  They are both the same size and measure 73mm from crown to rump.  That is the correct size for 13 weeks, and that is what we figured I was.  These are the best pics yet, there are seven new ones and you can see so much now.  We are both extremely happy and feel very blessed to have two healthy babies growing strong.  It is amazing to see their developments and their presence every time.  I hope you enjoy looking at the new photos.  This picture shows one hand very clearly near the face.

3-26-07-6.gifThis one is very sweet.  You can see them both here, seperated by a membrane.  It is very reminescent of Michelangelo’s ceiling in the Sistine Chapel.  It looks like they are trying to touch each other :)   The butterfly shape in the head of the baby on the left is a very clear image of the brain.  Very amazing.

3-26-07-4.gifOne baby was upside down with legs crossed indian style.  If you look closely, you can see the spine in this one.  It is amazing.

snc11575withtext.gifWe had an appointment this evening with our doctor and got some new 3D pictures of the babies.  They are growing fast!  We saw them both moving around inside and kicking their legs and waving their arms.  They look very active already.  We heard both of their heartbeats again and the doctor says everything looks perfect.  The following three pictures are from today, March 14th, the babies are beginning week 12.   They are about 2 inches long and have fully formed fingers and toes that we could see in the ultrasound!

snc11575.gifthis is the same image, just without titles.

snc11578.gifThis is the same image but shown upside down.  It shows the shape of the top one better when viewed this way.
